Careers
Built by people who stay in the room
We are a small, directly employed team on Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Brentwood commissions. Hiring is rare, deliberate, and strict. We do not lower the bar to fill a seat.
Craft, certainty,
and a high bar
A boutique of builders, not a contractor's office. Roles open infrequently. When they do, we hire for judgment forged on complex Los Angeles sites, not résumé volume and not familiarity alone.
Our superintendents, project managers, and trade leads work inside one accountable chain. Direct employment, Westside luxury construction, and standards you can trace from mock-up to punch list. We expect discretion with owners, architects, and site crews, and we expect proof, not promises.
We are very strict about who joins the roster. Experience on estate-scale work, verifiable references, and a portfolio that shows your fingerprints through turnover and closeout are baseline requirements, not differentiators.
No unsolicited recruiter introductions. No office walk-ins. Direct applicants and referrals from architects we already respect are the only paths we review with care.
What we require before reply
We treat every application as a professional brief. Incomplete packages are not queued. Materials that cannot be verified are declined without follow-up.
Luxury residential or comparable estate work in Los Angeles, with roles named clearly and dates that align with permit history or architect attestations where possible.
Owners and designers expect confidentiality. We decline candidates who name clients without permission, post live site imagery without approval, or treat prior commissions as marketing without consent.
Three professional references who can speak to your field leadership, not character references alone. Include firm names, titles, and direct contact information we may use after an initial screen.
A concise project list with your discipline on each commission, plus photographs or drawings that show scope you personally controlled. Vanity decks without site truth do not advance.
Email only.
No exceptions.
All career inquiries and application materials must arrive by email at info@hrdevelopmentinc.com. We do not accept applications through the website contact form, social messages, or phone calls without a complete email package.
Use the subject line format below so your message routes correctly. One email per candidate. Attach PDFs; do not send password-protected links we cannot open on the first pass.
Subject line: Careers Application: [Your Full Name] - [Role or Trade]

We reply when there is alignment and an open need. Silence is not an invitation to call, visit, or resubmit the same package on another channel.
We do not review: applications submitted only by phone or voicemail; packages sent through the general contact form; unsolicited office visits; or third-party recruiter blasts.
