McClellan is a crisp modern pavilion organized around glass and light, with pocketing walls dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior.
Pocketing glass walls dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, and a sculptural glass staircase carries the transparency of the facade through the vertical circulation. A basement below the main level is given over to entertaining.
The engineering
HR Development delivered the glass pavilion as a single resolved composition, coordinating the pocketing glass systems, the structural glass stair, and the basement entertainment level as the primary technical program.
