Roxbury is a romantic Spanish estate built around its courtyards, with beamed ceilings, arched openings, and warm wood carrying the period character out to a pool and loggia.
The arrival announces the house: an arched motor court with a fountain leads through a stained-glass entry to beamed and arched interiors. A kitchen and bar anchor the main floor, and an extensive covered loggia and pool program extend the plan into the garden. A tower element on the silhouette marks the house from the street.
The engineering
HR Development executed the remodel as a period-character restoration and program expansion, refining the arched and beamed interiors, the courtyard, the fountain, and the outdoor living program to a consistent level of finish.
